KadmusArts Podcast: From Rants to Fests
KadmusArts is a wonderful and very handy website dedicated exclusively to drawing attention to arts and cultural festivals around the world. So we are honored by their interest in The 9.13 Project. The host recently contact me to talk about the festival in a podcast you can listen to here.
Their website describes their ancient Greek origin: "Kadmus founded the city of Thebes and created the alphabet for humankind. At his marriage to the goddess Harmony, Kadmus was given the privilege of hearing the Muses sing... Of course, the ancient Greeks also brought us the modern festival: a coming together of artists and audiences to create a communal experience of enlightenment and fun."
The image on the right is Kadmus himself, striking a thoughtful pose.
Thank you to Ana Maria for an enjoyable interview, and for drawing attention to our festival.
