An Evening with Vinie Burrows

Actor, storyteller and activist Vinie Burrows has given over 6,000 performances, on and off-Broadway, on television, radio and in films. While the major thrust of her life has been to carry the message of peace, justice, and reconciliation through theatre art, Ms. Burrows expanded her political and social effectiveness as the Permanent Representative for the Women's International Democratic Federation -- a Non-Governmental Organization [NGO] in Consultative Status, Category One, with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations.

She will close "The 9.13 Project" with Sister! Sister!, a celebration of the joys and labors of women of all ages, backgrounds, and religions in villages and cities world-wide. From Soweto to Appalachia, this solo theatre piece is a stunning mosaic of testimonies and narratives of and about women. - written by men and women.
